This tutorial assumes that a network connection is available and active on you computer. The same procedure is used in PhotoPrint.
In limited editions of FlexiSign or PhotoPrint, "Add Setup" may be labled "Change setup".

In Production Manager, select "Add Setup" from the Setup menu. This opens the list of available devices on your system.

From the list on the left, select the manufacturer of your device. Choose your particular model from the list of devices on the right.

Be sure to select the correct width for your device!

After selecting your device from the list, you have the chance to give the device its own specific name. The default name is usually fine, but if you have more than one printer or plotter, you may prefer to use a more convenient name to suit your workflow.

Click "Next"

Here is where the comunication options are set. From the "Port" drop-down list, choose the port to which your device is connected.
For plotters, this is usually COM or USB.

A large format printer may be connected via USB, but the more likely option is via TCP/IP (network type).

Make your choice and click "Finish".

If you have selected COM, LPT or USB, the setup is now complete. However, if if you selected TCP/IP, you will be prompted to enter the IP address of your printer.

The first 3 sets of numbers must be the same as your computer but the last set must be unique to your printer. Make sure that this address matches the setting on your printer control panel.
