This tutorial
is for Flexi versions prior to version 8.5. The procedure for version 8.5
will be covered in a separate tutorial.
|
| In
Production Manager, select "Default Job Properties".
On the "Colour Management" tab, you can enter a name for your
media. The manufacturers name and code is the best option, e.g. "Grafiprint
S22P"
|
| Next,
make sure the "Perform colour correction" box is ticked. In
the Output profile drop-down list, select "add".
Browse
to where you have saved your file on your hard disk and add the file with
the .icc or .icm extension. (By default, Flexi will only display the correct
type of file.)
Click "Open".
|
| In
the Linearization table dialogue, drop down the list and select "Add".
In the same manner as above, browse to where you have saved your profiles
and select the file with the same name as your colour profile, except
with a .trc extension.
|
| Flexi
will only display the correct type of file by default-------."trc".
Linearization tables are also known as density files or linearization
files.
Click "Open".Your profile is now installed . When you select
the colour profile in Production Manager or Flexi RIP and Print, the correct
Linearization file will load automatically.
